Embark on an extraordinary 10-day safari adventure that showcases the diverse landscapes, wildlife, and cultural experiences across Kenya. From the rugged beauty of Samburu to the conservation efforts of Ol Pejeta, the scenic Lake Nakuru, the renowned Masai Mara, the iconic Amboseli, and the vast Tsavo West, this itinerary promises an unforgettable journey.
DAY 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU
You will be met at the airport and head out for your safari straight from there to Samburu National Park. You will stop for lunch for a delicious meal.
Thereafter we make our way to Samburu arriving at 1500hrs in the lodge for check in.
Thereafter we will go for an evening game drive returning to the lodge by 1830hrs for dinner and over night at a lodge or camp.
DAY 2: SAMBURU
Arise early and after breakfast head out for morning game drive by 0730hrs and search this beautiful park for it’s wildlife which includes the Grevys Zebra, reticulated giraffe which are only found in this area.
We will return to the lodge by 1200hrs for lunch.
After lunch, you can relax in the lodge until 1600hrs when the day’s heat starts to cool then head out again for an evening game drive searching again for animals.
At 1800hrs we head back to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: SAMBURU – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After an early breakfast, we check out and have another short game drive while we exit this park and make our way to Aberdares.
We are expected at the lodge in Ol PEJETA by 1230hrs in time for lunch and check in.
After lunch, you relax in the lodge until 1600hrs when we head out for our evening game drive searching for wildlife and bird life in this park returning to the lodge by 1800hrs for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: OL PEJETA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will head out from Ol Pejeta by 0800hrs and make your way to the land of the pink Flamingo’s also know as Lake Nakuru National Park.
We are expected here by 1200hrs for lunch and check in.
After lunch, you can relax in the lodge/ camp until 1500hrs when we head out for our evening game drive searching this park for its wildlife. Over here, we can see 4 of the big 5; the only one missing is the elephant.
At 1800hrs we return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA
After breakfast, we check out of our accommodation and leave for Maasai Mara by 0800hrs.
Thereafter we will have a short stop in Narok town for re-fueling and refreshments by 1000hrs.
We will then proceed to the 7th new wonder of the world, Maasai Mara Game Reserve. We are expected at the park gate by 1230hrs.
Thereafter we have a short game drive en route to our accommodation check in and lunch.
After lunch, we relax in until 1600hrs, when we head out for our evening game drive searching the Savannah for its wildlife.
At 1800hrs we head back to our overnight accommodation for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: MAASAI MARA
After breakfast, with our picnic lunch boxes in hand, we go for a full day game drive in the park and visit the various points in the park to try and get a glimpse of the wildebeest migrating and trying to cross the Mara river.
We will have our picnic lunch at a scenic location within the park.
We will continue our search until 1700hrs when we return to our accommodation for diner and overnight.
DAY 7: MAASAI MARA – AMBOSELI
You will have an early start leaving Maasai Mara by 0600hrs heading back to Nairobi then onward to Amboseli also know as Mt Kilimanjaro’s “royal court”.
We will have picnic lunch boxes in hand and you can have them in the car as this is quite a distance.
You are expected at the lodge by 1530hrs.
After check in, you can relax a little until 1630hrs when you will head out for your game drive searching for animals against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
You will return to the lodge at 1800hrs for dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: AMBOSELI
After breakfast, you will head out for your morning game drive at 0700hrs searching Mt. Kilimanjaro’s royal court for its various species of animals and bird life.
At 1130hrs we will take you to traditional Maasai Village where you can interact with the Maasai people and learn about their culture.
At 1300hrs we will be at the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you can relax in the lodge until 1600hrs when we go for our evening game drive returning to the lodge/ camp by 1800hrs for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST
After breakfast, we check out of the lodge/ camp by 0700hrs and head towards the land of “lions and lava” also known as Tsavo West National Park.
We will stop at Shaitani Lava which is lava from a mountain that erupted years ago.
Thereafter we will enter the park and head to our lodge for lunch and check in, having a game drive en route.
After lunch, you can relax in the lodge until 1530hrs when you head out for your evening game drive visiting the Rhino Sanctuary located within the park if time permits, or the famous Mzima Springs which is a fresh water source for the whole of Mombasa.
Thereafter returning to your lodge by 1830hrs for dinner and overnight.
DAY 10: TSAVO WEST – NAIROBI
After breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and head towards Nairobi by 0730hrs.
We will have a short game drive exiting the park.
We are expected in Nairobi by 1400hrs for your connection back home.
