4 Days, 3 Nights Safari to Tsavo East, West & Amboseli from Mombasa

This safari offers an exciting and diverse adventure through some of Kenya’s most iconic national parks: Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli. These parks are known for their breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

 

DAY 1: MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST

You’ll be picked up from your hotel/ residence in the early morning to Tsavo East and enter into the park through Bachuma gate.

Embark on game viewing upon entry in search for animals; leopards, cheetah, elephants, zebra, giraffes, buffalo etc.

You will also visit Aruba Dam and the Kanderi Swamp area where high concentration of animals may be found.

Lunch at the lodge/ camp. After lunch and a short rest at the lodge/camp, you will go for another game drive within the Tsavo East National Park till late then head back to the lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 2: TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI

Have an early morning breakfast then leave Tsavo East National Park with game drive en-route, arriving in Amboseli in time for lunch. check in at the lodge/camp.

Enjoy your lunch and have a rest.

Go for an afternoon game drive in search for animals within the Amboseli National Park famous known for its scenery with a backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Kilimanjaro also offers a scenic background for animal photography.

Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST

Early morning pre-breakfast, then go for a game drive, return to your lodge/ camp at around 0830hrs for your full breakfast.

You will then leave the park for Tsavo West National Park, with game viewing en route and visit of Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water.

There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys too.

Enjoy lunch and relax within the lodge/camp before you depart for an afternoon game drive within the Tsavo West or even visit the rhino sanctuary.

If you are lucky, you might see the black shy rhino. Other animals likely to be seen here are zebra, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, impala, lion, eland etc.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.

 

DAY 4: TSAVO WEST – MOMBASA

Have an early morning breakfast, then proceed on for the morning game drive as you leave the park.

Have lunch at a stopover hotel and then depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon.

 

Includes

  • Transport: Comfortable, air-conditioned safari van or 4×4 vehicle with a professional driver-guide.
  • Game Drives: Daily game drives in Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli.
  • Accommodation: 3 nights in lodges or camps with full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
  • Park Fees: All entry fees for Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli National Parks.
  • Meals: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) while at the lodges.
  • Bottled Water: Available during the safari.
  • Professional Guide: Services of a professional driver-guide who will assist with wildlife spotting and provide insights into the parks.

Excludes

  • Personal Expenses: Drinks (except bottled water), souvenirs, and other personal items.
  • Tips: Gratuities for the driver-guide and lodge staff (typically recommended at $10-15 per day).
  • Travel Insurance: Recommended to have travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
  • Optional Activities: Any optional activities such as a visit to a local Maasai village, or optional bush dinners, etc.
  • Flight Tickets: Flights to and from Mombasa, if not already included in the package.
